Problem when send/receive fax using fax modem xp, windows , windows 7

To fix send or receive problems in fax follow the following steps 1. Click start -> All Programs -> Windows fax and scan 2. Click fax 3. Tools -> Fax Settings 4. Click the General tab, and then, under Device name, make sure that the modem is selected. 5. Under Send/receive options, make sure that the Allow the device to send faxes check box is selected. 6. Make sure that the Allow the device to receive fax calls check box is selected, and then choose how to receive faxes. To have Windows automatically answer phone calls as incoming fax calls, click Automatically answer after X rings, select the number of rings after which Windows can try to answer phone calls as incoming fax calls, and then click OK. If someone else set up the computer to send and receive faxes, you might not have permission to use the built-in or external fax modem. To give all users permission to send and receive faxes 1. 1.Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Windows Fax and Scan. 2. To use Fax view, at the bottom of the left pane, click Fax. 3. Click the Tools menu, and then click Fax Settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 4. Click the Security tab, and then, in the Group or user names box, click Everyone. 5. Error messages in outlook when send or receive 2000 2003 vista windows 7

When doing send or receive your microsoft outlook will fire various connnection errors because outlook will not able to establish connection with mail server. The important reason for this error message is your account settings incorrect. To resolve this follow the below steps

1. start - > control pannel

If you are using a 64-bit version of Windows, double-click View 32-bit Control Panel in Control Panel to display the Mail icon.

2. Open the Mail Setup dialog box

For windows 7

double click on mail then mail setup dialog will appear. Note that you are not on categorised view

Windows xp or vista

double click on mail then mail setup dialog will appear. Note that you are not on categorised view

3. Click show profile

4. In General tab, under When starting Microsoft Office Outlook, use this profile, click Prompt for a profile to be used, and then click Add.

5. In the Profile Name box, type the name that you want to use for the new e-mail profile, and then click OK.


6. In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.


7. Click the appropriate server type for your new e-mail account, and then click Next.


8. Type your account information in the required boxes, and then click Next.


9 Click Finish, and then click OK.

windows sound problems - xp, vista, windows 7

In this article we describe the sound problems usually comming. For example no sund comming from speakers etc. Before going through this article please check cables appropriately connected, drivers are working correctly etc.

Check Sound Card

For windows vista, windows 7 follow the below steps.

1. Start -> Control pannel -> stem and security

2. under system,  click device manager

3. Double-click Sound, video, and game controllers. If no sound card listed no sound card installed. If you can see a yellow question mark next to sound card name there is problem with sound card. then

1. Right-click on the sound card to take properties

2. Click the General tab and look into the device status box

Check Power and Volume

To increase the volume or to check you are muted sound.

for windows vista and vindows 7 start -> Control panel-> Hardware and sound->adjust system volumn

For Windows XP, start -> All programs-> Accessories->Entertainment->Volumn Control
